No room for this beast! I’ve carted this to so many shows throughout the years. Painted after college on the subjugation of African women in Darfur, religious influence, and the rise of cartoon demi-gods. Acrylic paint with galkid on heavy duty plywood. All ready to hang, fameless. Definitely will need to be nailed into a stud to properly support. Some slight scratching but all in all good shape. ๐Ÿ˜Š Asking $150 or best offer. Dimensions are 48″ x 48″ and 1″ thick

This spring as it comes bursts up in bonfires green, Wild puffing of emerald trees, and flame-filled bushes, Thorn-blossom lifting in wreaths of smoke between Where the wood fumes up and the water flickering rushes. I am amazed at this spring, this conflagration Of green fires lit on the soil of this earth, this blaze Of growing, and sparks that puff in wild gyration, Faces of people streaming across my gaze. And I, what fountain of fire am I amoung This leaping combustion of spring? My spirit is tossed About like a shadow buffeted in the throng Of flames, a shadow that’s gone astray, and is lost. –The Enkindled Spring written by D. H. Lawrence

This is how many generations ago I had my most recent ancestor for each population. So tracing back to the 1700’s with my genetics. Not that long ago! Sardinian suprised me, Yakut is apparently Native American which we had a story in the family about, and I guess it was legit. Whoop! I’ve been told I look Scandinavian and thought I wasn’t but guess I am, Ashkenazi Jewish was a suprise and I need to read about them, and having a North African and South Asian relative from the 1700 – 1800’s was a pleasant surprise as well! I want to explore who everyone was and see how I came to be. Fascinating stuff.

River Titan Bombay was his name and he was a most excellent cat. I woke up after a night at the TI hotel pub in upstate New York to this creature sleeping on my friends chest only to realize I had “adopted” him after a few too many, taking him home with me the night before in my dads row boat. He loved to hide and didn’t come out of the subfloor plumbing of a new apartment in Burlington for several weeks and would only take his dinner under the sink at odd hours. In another place, he fell through the ceiling (with bits of drywall and all) onto the dining room table of my neighbors – narrowly missing a hot casserole. He left us today at the ripe age of 15!!, and he was a good permanent tuxedo wearing kid
